B*stards
They got me too, Tmob very unhelpful. Kept telling me it was a "third party message", that I need to cancel it, and basically tough tits as there was nothing they could do, and that I must've subscribed to something as it had to have been done from my phone. Grrr

T-mobile scam
Right I am in a real foul mood on this. T-Mobile have slipped a permission to a £1.25 + VAT ring tone service called Ringtagz into an app that I tested.
The app was footy banter.

I will be raising holy hell with T-Mobile about no info on unsubscribing

I have looked into this a bit and to stop text "stop" to 88188

You're aware T-Mobile can't "slip" permissions into any apps unless it's apps that they make themselves? That permission was put there by the developer so afraid this isn't T-Mobiles fault, however much everyone loves to blame the network when it's really their own fault.

same problem £1.25 text
Called up ee & t mobile customer service for the second time in as many days !, first time as a 'goodwill' gesture removed the 1.25 charge. Second time he applied a 'block on all third party text messages' to my phone. I sincerely hope this works otherwise ill have to ring t mobile every month to remove the charge to my phone.

Peed off
Just noticed on my ee that this number has been taking £1.25 at around 1008 every day, since the 23rd of Jan. Ee were very unhelpful saying it's something I've activated on the handset. I've not done a thing to start this up. They gave me the details for ringtagz, as that's who the number is registered to. I've never used this service and I can't stop it. They've told me I need to basically put up and shut up as it's my fault. They say they can't bar the number collecting the fee and even denied it's a form of scam, even though the Internet is riddled with stories similar to mine. Complaining to offcom about ee now

T-mobile
Hi I have just checked my T-Mobile bill and found a charge to 700005006 from 23 Jan to 4 Feb daily, totalling £ 17.50. T-Mobile deny any fault on their part and say its 3rd party. I have not subscribed or go online on my mobile so I challenged them. They have given my an email staring with James@...... to contact for a refund. I am very unhappy with T-Mobile as these pop up whenever and I have to fight with T-Mobile. I will be making an official complaint and writing to T-Mobile.

Complaint
I have written a complaint to T-Mobile and await their response. Like the previous comments I too have been charged £ 1.25 from 23/1/14 to 4/2/14 and contacted T-Mobile today. I have not subscribed to any apps nor 3rd party companies, so unsure why T-Mobile have added these charges to my account. I was informed to sms stop to 60080, and today there was no charge. If the issue is not resolved, I will definitely be taking matters to CISAS which is a part of OFCOM.

I've been charged £1.25 at just after 10am each day from 22/01/14 (actually twice on that day) until 04/02/14 - totalling £18.75. I did nothing to start this or stop it. I think it's a billing mistake, but I know it'll be hard work getting them to admit liability. Was looking forward to upgrading my phone with them, but this really puts me off :(

Just checked my bill online for my Daughters phone and I have the same thing. 23rd Jan twice, then daily until 2nd Feb. £15.75 + VAT. Called TMobile, usual stuff, 3rd party blah blah, but they have put a block on premium numbers and intl calls,

Had the same problem as everyone else my phone has had a block put on premium numbers since the contract began, How the hell this charge has slipped through the net is beyond me,
Told T-mobile remove charge and make sure I don’t receive anymore or I will cancel contract due to breach...lets see how they respond
